"Reheated Leftovers Scrap Organization"

Recently we hosted a program featuring reheated leftovers by Cyndi McChesney, who wanted to pass along her hints for organizing your scraps. (www.cedarridgequilting.com)

  • Cut strips and squares at 1-1/2 inches 2 inches
  • 2-1/2 inches 3-1/2 inches
  • Cut Charm Squares 5 inches
  • Pair the following:
  • Two 1-1/2 inch squares with a 1-1/2 x 2-1/2 inch rectangle
  • Two 2-inch squares with a 2 x 3-1/2 inch rectangle
  • Two 2-1/2 inch squares with a 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch rectangle
  • Three 1-1/2 inch squares with a 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 inch rectangle
  • Three 2-inch squares with a 2 x 5-1/2 inch rectangle
  • Three 2-1/2 inch squares with a 2-1/2 x 7 inch rectangle
  • These play well together:
  • A 4 patch made from 1-1/2 inch squares with a 2-1/2 inch square
  • A 4 patch made from 2-inch squares with a 3-1/2 inch square
  • A 9 patch from 1-1/2 inch squares with a 3-1/2 inch square​
